Someone is Taking Advantage of the Indonesia Open


The Adcocks are known to set foot and compete on the upcoming Indonesia Open and it is the perfect stage to get a hold of a higher rankings.

Chris and Gabby Adcock will be taking advantage on their new world ranking as they take to the court at the BCA Indonesia Open next week. They actually moved up to fifth in the world in the new rankings that was published on Thursday, and it is their first tournament since being crowned European champions in April.

The fifth seed will be challenged by the Hong Kong duo Lee Chun Hei Reginald and Chau Hoi Wah set in Jakarta, and this is a pair that they have not faced since 2015 so this will be exciting.


The fixture came in the group stages of the Dubai World Superseries Finals, with the Adcocks winning in three games en route to lifting the title. As they progresses to the quarter-finals they will face a new challenged as they likely tie with fourth seeds Joachim Fischer Nielsen and Christinna Pedersen of Denmark, the duo they have defeated to bring home the European crown.

One more killer will be joining the Adcocks in Indonesia is the fellow European champion Rajiv Ouseph, also playing in his first tournament since winning in Kolding.

He is set to face a big challenge in Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk of Thailand in the first round an opponent he has defeated in the past but game him a very tough match the most recent is the 2015 Yonex French Open.


So by saying this, the Indonesia Open will be star studded and all games will surely be nerve racking we’ll surely wait and see who will prevail as the new kings of the court.
